I'm not one to create forum controversy or say ridiculous things (right J.R?) but cmon, we are supposed to believe that? 50 games. In a row. Which games did you shoot 700? 33, 34, and 35? When you scored from outside, were you standing 10 feet from the pins? Take it from me, the only boards outside that were hookin were the big fat gray board, and that didnt score very well for me.

I kid you not, the center could varify it... 3pm-2am the Friday before 2nd semester kicked out... I scored the 700 in 42-44... To be fair I did take a dinner break before that and the pattern did sit under the lights for that long so it might have broken down differently than at the BG... (But like you said this is pointless haha)(Now the next time I need to test a pattern, I'm bringing in 5 bowlers to bowl 10 games... my legs were DEAD)

Was their anything besides the center (I sadly can't change that (well I can, but I can't change that center)), that you guys as bowlers would like to see different, I got the coaches opinions in the surveys but too often what the bowlers themselves want goes unheard

If im not wrong isnt St. Charles wood lanes? I cant see either shot holding up more than a game before everyone is just lofting the cap like every tournament. Also at the Hoinke the "shark" pattern they put out was a joke.

No, the surface at St. Charles Lanes is HPL. The shot will hold up better than wood lanes but still won't hold up.

If the CORRECT volume is used then the patterns will hold up just fine. remember the S.I. elite for those who bowled, that was a format using long on day 1 and 37 on day 2 and that held up surprisingly VERY well even on the beat up surface at st clair bowl.

CJ, I have seen you bowl before. I know that 700 series must have been all 50 games added up, right?

CJ, there was no way people could score from outside during games 4 and 5, and I can guarantee you that. I'm not trying to be controversial to you, but the only way to play that shot was to chase it in.

Well, if its just him, bowling for 50 games, he can probably break open the pattern anywhere on the lane if you spend enough time there.

However, there was no way that line was in play during the tournament.
